Loud Culture
by Loud Culture. Ive been really into African/Nigerian prints for the past 3 years. Ive never been able to find actual designers until this year. I would wear this with high waisted trouser pants, or jeans with a bold lip and hair up just like that.

Shoe Addiction
Ive been staring these shoes down for a month and a half, waiting for the price to go down from $98 to like $40 (I dream big, but it could happen =]). So initially I wanted just the leopard print ones, but now I also want the chocolate colored ones. I am finally seeing the price go down to $70 in some places, Macys had a sale till yesturday which I still didnt feel was worth it. Zappos has lowered it to $88. Zappos is the best place to buy shoes because free shipping, even though they might not immediately have sales on the hottest shoes but a 365 return day policy and there awesome customer service makes it so worth it. It feels like im giving what would be money for shipping to 'tip' the company. i <3 Zappos. But i still dont know which shoe to get =[. The chocolate ones may be the best nude shoe for me and i could wear it with anything, but the leopard i can wear with anything too [im not afraid] but if i wanted a plain look with just these shoes itd be hard because my attention is not usually drawn towards plain things, so id have no plain outfit to wear with it and therefore wear less often, or just as much but id match less often lol.

Monthly Motto
Based on this months lesson, here is my motto for this month
"I won't let nobody tell me who I am and where the fudge I'm going."
I hate Pinterest
This Invite only site allows you to share and organize pictures you see with others and for them to 'repin' if they share a common intersert. See the thing is, I like to look for new and exciting things. I think that Pinterest creates a "box" and things become less varied and unique. It takes the fun away from having an idea and figuring out how to fufill it then stumbling upon a way a that makes it possible. Rather people can just follow what others are doing and the creativity can eventually run out. I found myself getting upset when someone repinned my pin! why? well because I searched for this thing, researched and researched, when you find you are looking for or similar, something that is not trending or popular or common its almost rare to find what you envision and i cant imagine if i actually did the work to make something myself to suit my needs and it just gets pinned all over and people start to take my creation and turn it into a show and tell, where someone can either redo it and make money off of it or misinform others about its origin. Im sorry but i work hard to find the interesting and creative things i either make or find and i only want to share if i will make a profit of it or can get the credit. Overall the thing I dislike about pinterest is the limitations. I see it as if it were fashion, (which it can be if you want), things that are trending would be mainstream and it would make me sick to see this high concentration of "trends" vs originallity. Since you cant keep the things that inspire you private its just like someone will always be taking the ideas right out of ur head vs the "words right out of ur mouth".
